Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Egypt Gold Sweets developed by Apollo Dev Tech ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Egypt Gold Sweets mobile application (the "App") and related services. By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

The App is a free brand-promotion cookbook offering 40 hand-illustrated recipes from ancient Egyptian and Middle Eastern dessert traditions. Features include a Daily Royal Recipe, the Spin the Scarab wheel, the Pyramid Slot ingredient combiner, the Royal Collection album, streak rewards, and the My Bake photo journal.

The App is not a gambling or wagering product. The wheel and slot are recipe pickers — there are no chips, no virtual or real currency, no payouts, no in-app purchases, and no real-money play of any kind. Words like spin, lucky, golden, royal, and jackpot describe recipes (a lucky dish, golden honey, a royal banquet) and never describe betting.

2. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

3. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including but not limited to recipes, illustrations, food lore, written copy, the visual design, fonts, audio, code, and the Egypt Gold Sweets name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
  • Attempt to circumvent any security or integrity features of the App;
  • Decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by applicable law;
  • Use automated means to interact with the App in a way that disrupts service;
  • Submit content (e.g., bake photos with notes) that infringes on others' rights or is illegal, harassing, or harmful.

5. User Content

The "My Bake" feature lets you attach photos and notes to recipes. This content is stored locally on your device only and is never uploaded to our servers. You retain ownership of your photos and notes. You are solely responsible for the content you create with the App.

6. Recipes & Cooking — Disclaimer

Recipes and food lore are provided for informational and entertainment purposes. You are responsible for following safe food-handling, cooking, and allergy practices. Some recipes contain common allergens (nuts, dairy, sesame, eggs, gluten). We make no warranties about the suitability of any recipe for any specific dietary need or medical condition. Always consult a qualified professional if you have allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical concerns.

7. No Real-Money Play

The App contains no gambling, no in-app purchases, no virtual currency, no advertising, and no real-money mechanics. Streaks, rarity tiers, and the cookbook crown are non-monetary, cosmetic progress markers within the App and have no cash value.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services for analytics, attribution, and push delivery as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of any third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Updates & Availability

We may release updates that add, modify, or remove features. We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times, error-free, or compatible with all devices and operating-system versions. We may, in our sole discretion, suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements or operate uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Egypt Gold Sweets developed by Apollo Dev Tech, its affiliates, officers, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Egypt Gold Sweets developed by Apollo Dev Tech and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
